Problem: how do we get a good quality full HD video to all surfers?
Solution: use 2K video as source, crop it to HD, cut out all non-moving areas in the frame and make it a transparent PNG overlay image for the video parts.
Problem: how do we get different folder designs in the video without shooting twice?
Solution: key and track all variable elements, replace the covers in post – thanks again Mocha!

Adobe® Media Encoder CS4 zal de rol van de CS3 Flash Video Encoder overnemen, verder spitst de nieuwe app zich toe op het encoden van audio- en videofiles in een hele rits nieuwe digitale formaten, die eerder alleen via stand-alone apps zoals Apple Compressor, Sorensen Squeeze of (mijn favoriet) Telestream’s Episode konden geëncode worden. Als de beloftes effectief worden ingelost, zou Adobe dus vanaf versie CS4 eindelijk een echte all-in online video workflow moeten bieden of toch minstens een serieuze verbetering voor online videotoepassingen moeten betekenen tov de huidige CS3 workflow (voor PC gebruikers dan toch – zie hieronder).

De definitie:
An FLV file encodes synchronized audio and video streams. The audio and video data within FLV files are encoded in the same way as audio and video within SWF files. Starting with SWF files published for Flash Player 6, Flash Player can exchange audio, video, and data over RTMP connections with Adobe Flash® Media Server. One way to feed data to Flash Media Server (and thus to Flash Player clients) is from files in the FLV file format. Starting with SWF files published for Flash Player 7, Flash Player can also play FLV files directly with MIME type video/x-flv. An FLV file encodes synchronized audio and video streams.
The F4V format is based on the format specified by ISO/IEC 14496-12: ISO base media file format. Starting with SWF files published for Flash Player 9 Update 3 (9,0,115,0), Flash Player has been able to play F4V files.
